GALVANIC FACIAL

THEORY OF GALVANIC

Revitalizes the skin, help the product penetrate deep into the skin, Improve blood circulation and lymph circulation, Increase the efficiency of any facial, Improve normal functioning of the skin. It on the law of polarity where like poles repel each other and unlike poles attract each other. There are 2 rods of galvanic machine.

1. Carbon rod-  Active electrode that is placed on clints skin.
2. Metal rod-  passive electrode that is either help by the clients or placed on clients back.

SAFETY MEASURES

Check for instructor manual , Check of machine is in proper working order. Check for contraindication. Do the skin sensitive test. Do not not go over 8 min. ,Always begin intensity at 0 and go higher then client feel a metallic taste do not exceed after that. Contact lenses should be removed.

TWO METHOD OF GALVANIC MACHINE

1. DISINCRUSTATION

Deep cleansing action, Suitable for oily, acne prone and active acne skin.

2. IONIZATION

Hydration treatment, suitable for all skin type.

1. Emulsify the sebum, removes surface blockages and helps regulate secretion of excess oil.
2. It is benefited for oily, acne prone and mild acne skin.

CURRENT -direct current, PRODUCT– plain salt with water, DURATION– 6-8 min.  INTENSITY -10+ , NEGATIVE– 6min,  POSITIVE- 2min.

WORKING MACHINE

Direct constant current flowing from negative to positive pole.

ACTIVE ELECTODE – Anode  (negative)

PASSIVE ELECTRODE– Anode (positive)

These 2 electrode are used on client to complete the circuit , Produces a chemical which is ALKELINE SODIUM. hydroxide (NAOH). Breaks up the acid mantle, The reversal of current will help balance the Ph of the skin by producing (HCL).

IONIZATION

Scientific name-  IONTOPHORESIS 

1. Introduce beneficial, ionized solution to the skin, also called IONTOPHORESIS.
2. Age pots, liver spots, sun spots, and other facial pigmentation problem can be resolved with this treatment.
3. We cannot stop the proses of aging but this treatment we can delay the signs of aging.
4. gives a youthful glow and hydrate the skin from with in.

CURRUNT– Direct current,    PRODUCT– Plain salt,    DURATION – 6 to 8 mins.   POSSITIVE-  6  mins.    NEGETIVE– 2 mins.  INDICATIONS-  Moisture dry skin, sensitive skin, mature skin, hyper pigmentation.
